Advanced Ballistic Materials
We have an extensive worldwide materials network with the capacity to design, customize and produce composite materials, ballistic glass, boron carbide, PE composite, and ceramic components, in addition to producing our own Magmacore™ ballistic panels. Our principal business is prototyping and testing innovative ballistic materials and products, quickly and efficiently.
Ceramics
We design and produce custom ceramic armor components for a variety of ballistic applications. Ceramic components are a vital element in most composite armor systems because they are significantly lighter than steel and have the ability to be made into any shape, size or hardness. These composite armor systems are frequently used in body armor, vehicle armor, and aircraft armor and can defeat various threats including armor-piercing rounds or IEDs.
Composite Armor
Armor Dynamics Inc. uses a superior pultrusion process to manufacture fiber reinforced polymer composites. Until recently, the pultrusion of thermoplastic composites was thought to be impossible. However, using a precise combination of heat, pressure and time, the conventional thermoset pultrusion machine was altered to create a new generation of composite equipment. This new composite machinery bodes easy post-forming, no emissions and full recyclability.
